- The Mauna Loa Observatory. http://www.esrl.noaa.gov/gmd/obop/mlo/
The Mauna Loa Observatory is an atmospheric research facility dedicated to monitoring the atmosphere. It has been continuously monitoring and collecting data related to atmospheric change since the 1950's. It has very good educational resources for school kids, for teachers and for adults of all ages. On a purely scientific note it has a wealth of data carbon cycle gases - on parameters such as global carbon dioxide distribution and global distribution of methane. And also has information on halocarbons and trace gases, meteorology and ozone.
- Met Office. http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/climate-change
The Met Office website has a useful section on Climate Change. It provides a general background to understanding climate and information on how climate is changing and how changes in climate affect populations.
